‘ Men are afraid that women will laugh at them.
Women are afraid that men will kill them.'
The story follows Jack from the age of 9 into her 30s, detailing her journey through misogyny, puberty & the terrifying realities women face on a daily basis. Jack is all of us; a victim, a phoenix, a superhero.
Using spoken word, comedy, dance, and live original music, MEAT is an electrifying roar of fury, a rallying cry of protest & a unifying celebration of strength packed with heroism & heart.
