MEAT
**** 'Brilliantly executed. Tears up the rulebook.
MEAT is perfectly disobedient.
THE SCOTSMAN
***** A tour-de-force performance fusing spoken word and physical theatre. Not only has she mastered both forms, she fuses them into something new, something greater.
THREE WEEKS
***** MEAT is the best thing at this year's fringe. If I could give it more than five stars I would.
GETTHECHANCE.WALES
***** It would be difficult to discuss this year's fringe without mentioning Elle Dillon-Reams. Not only a gifted performer, but a kind, bold, and truthful one with an important story to tell.
***** A challenging yet life-affirming piece of theatre that raised questions long after leaving the theatre and is as Dillon-Reams describes it herself :
'Work that leaves audiences with hope. My art is activism, my art is an antidote to the hopeless.'
JOE ROSENTHAL -SNACK MAG
'Dillon-Reams has a kindly presence that draws you in.'

‘ Men are afraid that women will laugh at them.
Women are afraid that men will kill them.'

MEAT is an electrifying roar of fury, a rallying cry of protest & unifying celebration of strength packed with heroism & heart. A playful and poignant exploration of identity. Written by multi-award winner Elle Dillon-Reams, 'Best Newcomer' The Scotsman.
A dirty dive into the foundations of power, an injection of a new narrative - MEAT is a theatrical hybrid of poetry, clowning, cabaret and dance featuring original music.
