POETRY

Elle Dillon-Reams is a neurodivergent, queer artist, originally from Brighton. A multi award winner of Poetry Slams across the UK including Hammer & Tongue, Genesis, and Loud Poets, her debut poetry collection 'Maladaptive' was published by Verve Poetry Press in 2022. Elle was selected by Craig Charles and BBC6 Music as part of the Poetry class of 2023, featuring on BBC6 Music's prestigious National Poetry Day Programme alongside Tim Key, Lemn Sissay, Nitin Sawney, and Arlo Parks.

Elle has since had several commissions from the BBC, including a special New Year's Poem for Craig Charles and BBC Radio6 Music saying Farewell to 2023 and Hello to 2024.

Elle has won the Imperial Nature Slam with Imperial College, Genesis Poetry Slam (twice), the Hackney Hammer and Tongue Slam, earning her a place in the 2020 Hammer and Tongue Nationals at The Royal Albert Hall.​

Elle was the 2020 International Women's Day Poet for Boiler House London, and won the Imperial Nature Slam with Imperial College London in 2021. Elle has since won Genesis Poetry Slam and Loud Poet's Slam London heat earning her a place in the national Loud Poet's slam final as part of the Edinburgh International Festival (videos below).​

Elle has performed her poetry at festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Her debut solo show 'HoneyBEE' sold out its entire run and received all 5 and 4-star reviews at The Brighton Fringe 2019 after which she won the Three Week's Editor's award for performance and Best Newcomer from The Scotsman in Edinburgh 2019.  

Elle took HoneyBEE and her second solo show MEAT to Edinburgh in 2023, and recently toured both shows across the UK receiving five star reviews, sellouts, and an Offie Nomination. 

She returned to The Omnibus Theatre in March this year after selling out in December for another run of MEAT for International Women's Day. 

She is currently writing her new show under Lucy Morrison as part of the inaugural New Writing South Playwrights cohort. â€‹

Elle is available for feature performance slots, commissions, personal poetry writing, or as a poetry writing/reading workshop leader.
